I love weddings! From the time I was a little girl I was in
awe of brides in their beautiful dresses. I remember asking my mother to drive
slowly as we would pass a church with a wedding in progress hoping to catch
just a glimpse of the bride. Is it any wonder
then that I love what I do? Each wedding is beautiful and unique in its own
way. Yesterday, though, was extra special as we had a wedding for one
of BMH’s own. . . my daughter, Aimee and
new son-in-law, Mark. Preparing for
their wedding was exhilarating, fun, tiring, at times stressful; but always a
privilege! After all, this wedding day of days is one we have prayed for since
she was born! July 28th started out with a forecast of 80% rain/thunderstorms;
but instead of raining, the sun came out! Little did we know that satellite
radar shows the storm that was coming right for us – split and passed by
on each side of us and then came back together!
MIRACULOUS. . . STUPENDOUS! Record rainful of 8.2 inches was recorded in
Philadelphia and the next town – just about 3 miles down the road received
“torrential rain” accumulating 7 inches.
We were blessed with sunshine and blue skies! Thank you to the
many BMH brides that emailed to say congratulations! :-) - Nancy
