Throwback Thursday: 6.1.12 Chris & Sarah

Since everyone else seems to getting in to the #tbt trend, we figured we might as well, too! For those of you who may not be familiar, "tbt" stands for "Throwback Thursday", when you post a picture or story from the past that is special to you.

We didn't really have any problems deciding what to post. :) For us, our brides and grooms are not only our clients, but they are why we enjoy our jobs. Working with them one-on-one, helping them plan, and then seeing how everything comes together the day of the wedding is what makes us happy! Each and every bride and groom is so different. Each wedding is unique and each couple is a pleasure to get to know!

For our first throwback Thursday, meet Chris and Sarah. They were married here back in June of 2012, and chose our friends at Jensen Photography to capture their day (they are seriously talented - head over to their website to check them out or see the full post here). Chris and Sarah had one of those perfect days - warm and sunny, although there was some rain! They chose to do all of their pictures prior to the ceremony, so when the rain hit, it didn't phase them at all!

They were married at the Lakeview and had a beautiful ceremony. These two are a very easygoing couple and were a joy to work with. The men dressed in casual vests and khakis, while Sarah chose vibrant dresses for the bridesmaids that really popped against the green foliage.

For the reception, Chris and Sarah utilized our uplighting and colorsplash package, using the bright purple on the top! It created a gorgeous look inside the ballroom, that combined with the starlights, made the perfect dancing atmosphere!

Chris and Sarah were an awesome couple to work with, and we're not lying when we say theirs are some of our favorite wedding pictures we've seen here. Hope you two are doing well! :)
