For our next throwback, we are introducing you to Kiki and Tom. Their wedding was a few years ago now, but their pictures are still some of our favorites. They chose Char Photography to document their day. Char is one of our favorite photographers here at BMH. She takes amazing photos. As you look through the photos both in Char's blog and our throwback, you can't help but notice the love between this beautiful couple.
Kiki and Tom had their ceremony at our Lakeview site. Overlooking the pond, they stood at the alter to proclaim their vows to one another. Kiki's dad is one of the most proud father's we've had the privilege to meet. Just by looking at him, you could tell how proud he was of his little girl. We love that Char captured this photo of them praying before he gave her away!
There were ribbons and streamers for the recessional once the two were proclaimed husband and wife. Just look at the happiness on their faces!
Following the ceremony, the couple and their bridal party headed off for photos. An Uncle had brought along one of his classic cars which was parked in the field behind the Manor House. Can you imagine having these photos to look at for the rest of your life?!
With shades of gray and yellow and gorgeous white flowers, Kiki and Tom's reception was soft and elegant. They used our Uplighting and Colorsplash package to add the starlights and a yellow hue to the top of the Ballroom. They also chose to change out some of the white Japanese lanterns and add some gray and yellow to further their color scheme. It created a warm atmosphere perfect for dancing the night away.
Kiki and Tom, thank you so much for choosing Brandywine Manor House as the location to become husband and wife. It was a privilege to be a part of your special day. We wish you (and your family) all the best!
