Tomorrow marks one of my favorite holidays. Thanksgiving is a time to spend
with family and loved ones and to be grateful for both the good and the trying things
that have happened not only over the past year, but in every aspect of life.
We at BMH have so much to be thankful for. And we want to
share a small portion of that list with you, both our former and prospective
brides and grooms and their families.
First, we are so thankful to the Lord for allowing us the opportunity to do what we love. He has given us yet another year to host weddings and get to know so many couples preparing for marriage. We pray that He continues to bless us as greatly in 2013!
Secondly, we are grateful for our amazing staff.
Some of you may have met and gotten to know Nancy, the event coordinator at BMH. She is
not only a wonderful woman (and mother – I’m not only her employee, I’m also her
daughter), but she is amazing at her job. She does not just see a wedding; she
sees each couple behind it and grows to truly care for each and every one of
them. Beyond Nancy, you may know that BMH is truly a family run and operated
business. Nancy and her husband, daughter, sons, and sons-in-law all work
together to make BMH run both smoothly and efficiently. We are so thankful for
a hardworking and loving family!
We also give thanks for our vendors! Each and every vendor
that comes to BMH is valued. We appreciate those we’ve known for years and
those that we are just meeting. We love getting to know each caterer,
photographer, florist, and the list goes on. We appreciate their work and the opportunities to make connections with other professionals in this business.
And lastly, we are thankful for you - the brides and grooms
that choose Brandywine Manor House as the location to celebrate your amazing day! We
appreciate each and every couple that contacts BMH, and there have even been
occasions when certain members of the staff (Nancy J ) have shed tears during
ceremonies. Each couple is different, and we love meeting with them and helping
to plan each wedding – whether modern, rustic, big, or small. It is you –
brides and grooms – that make our jobs not only fun, but also rewarding in so
many ways.
We love weddings, both the planning and excitement, but also
witnessing the love between couples and families. So thank you to each and
every person, both past and present, that is and has been involved in the
weddings we host at Brandywine Manor House.
We wish you a happy and safe Thanksgiving!
