We have an admission to make: we love fall weddings. The colors, the leaves, the cool air - we love every part of fall, so it's no wonder how much we love fall themed weddings!

This year, several of our September and October brides and grooms chose an autumn theme for their wedding. Not only is this beautiful, but it makes for amazing photos and can be very budget-friendly!

In the spirit of fall (which is coming to a close way, way too soon), we figured we'd provide those of you planning a fall wedding with some inspiration - both from some of our own weddings and from around the world. Whether you choose to marry indoors or out  here at Brandywine Manor House, you will have the perfect, picturesque locations for your gorgeous fall wedding.

We have multiple locations for you to hold your ceremony and reception. Whether you choose the Lakeview, Glen, Manor Barn, or Garden Terrace, you're guarenteed that autumn look you desire. For an October ceremony in the Glen, incorporate both the colors of the leaves in the forest, as well as bring in additional plants and flowers, like the bride below. If you choosing to marry in front of the Gazebo rather than the Waterfall, you can add additional flowers and plants in baskets on the ground and hanging from the gazebo, creating a beautiful, enchanted forest for you and your groom, as well as your guests.

If you'd rather be indoors, whether for the rustic element or to shield yourself from inclement weather, the Manor Barn provides a perfect backdrop for your autumn wedding. You may choose to line the aisle with pumpkins and autumn leaves, or to have decorate fall flowers on each aisle chair.

 In the Crown Ballroom, the possibilities for your fall-themed wedding are endless! Whether you change out the Japenese lanterns to reflect your color scheme or choose linens in the colors of autumn, the Crown Ballroom will reflect the gorgeous colors and feel of autumn.

To perfect an autumn wedding, it's all in the details. The cakes, the guestbook, seating chart... you have innumerable ways to implement your love of autumn into your wedding. Use a "Falling in Love" banner somewhere in your decor. Place autumn leaves on your gift and cake table. Decorate with pumpkins as much as you can!

It really is all in the details, whether big or small. For a drastic impact, you may choose to use our lighting package. Whether orange or yellow, our lighting package creates a beautiful fall ambiance for you and your guests to enjoy throughout your evening.
